        Saldan Consulting incorporated in the US and in Canada in 1991.

Saldan Consulitng began and has remained as a small boutique consultancy for 25 years. This enabled us to focus on one or two clients at a time and involve ourselves in what we enjoy doing the most, working with people and improving operations. At times we staff ourselves up by contracting with experienced consultants who help us implement our program on larger projects. we also ask our clients to dedicate some of their managers to our project so that we can train them in our methods.

As of yet, we have not encountered any competition because larger consulitng companies do not have the skill to develop many small departments with the detail that we do. And, they are not fast enough nor provide the results required to justify their fees. As a small boutique we have specific knowledge and can design and implement much quicker and more efficiently.

We focussed first in the Long Term Care industry or Senior Housing.

We improved operations in Nursing Homes and later in Assisted Living and Retirement Residences. By focussing in these areas, we were able to thoroughly understand the workings of every department and every task performed by employees. By working with hundreds of departments across the country, we developed a knowledge base of best practices and best performance.

Our programs were developed from an industrial engineering base and were refined and improved through experience of working with many different people. We learned as much as we helped. Today, we know exactly what is done in a kitchen to prepare a meal, how a room is cleaned most efficiently, how maintenance departments are most effective as well as how office work and reports are prepared.

Perhaps the most important thing experience has taught us is how to implement change, how to communicate and how much to involve people in the process.

The ultimate result is that over the years we ourselves have become more efficient and effective. As a testament to the fact that no matter how impossible each project may have seemed, we were successful in every single one and each one was completed on time. We delivered on 100% of the promises we made and in almost all cases we far exceeded those as well. The greatest testament to our success in improving company performance is that 94% of all new work has been from previous clients or referals. CEO's, Presidents, Executive Vice Presidents and especially Chief Financial Officers who previously worked with us and moved to another company or aquired more operations have hired us again. They knew us, how we work and the results we can achieve.
